" Bob Has Wood"
Welcome to my web site. Does Bob have "WOOD?"   You bet he does.  Within these pages are the results of my woodworking hobby with logs. The wood I use to build my furniture is  from lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine, western red and yellow cedar, fir  and juniper taken from my property
For the most part this is just a hobby. I make log beds of all kinds and sizes. Kings, queens, twins, singles and bunks. I also make coffee tables, end tables, coat racks and the occassional chair and love seat. If you want something made up to your specifications let me know and I will see what I can do.

Making log furniture and it's accessories can be a lengthy process. First you have to find the proper trees. Then the tree must be cut down and peeled, The wood takes several months to dry in a heated area. A moisture meter is used to determine if the wood is ready to work with,  once dried the wood is then cut and worked on to make the piece. It seems as if there is no end to the sanding and varnishing needed to make it a finished project.
Within these pages is some of the work that I have done and the price for these items
